Tasting- Atlas Cumbres Cabernet Sauvignon

Name: Atlas Cumbres Cabernet Sauvignon
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Country: Argentina
Region: Mendoza
Year: 2010
Price: $15.00 à $6.95

Wine Shop Review: Intense red color with violet highlights, with clean, fresh and complex aromas of berries, plums, figs and pepper. Strong personality is in perfect balance with a medium body and pleasant tannins. Ideal for: red meats, cheeses and strong sauces.
My Review: This was an extremely big red wine. I thought this as soon as I smelled it. There were high oak flavors, a peppery spice, and was an extremely big nose. The taste definitely had a strong pepper taste, and I thought that it may have been a little hot. I was surprised that there was not too much tannin in it, as it was such a big wine. I also liked the nice spices that are in the wine on the finish. Very nice, big wine.

I did not taste this wine with food.
