Tasting- Gougenheim Torrontes

Name: Gougenheim Torrontes
Variety: Torrontes
Country: Argentina
Region: La Rioja
Year: 2012
Price: $9.95

Wine Expert Review: This 2012 Torrontes comes from Chilecito in La Rioja. It has a light floral nose with touches of lemon peel and nectarine. The palate is crisp and taut, showing far more vivacity and fruit that the nose implied, finishing with a flourish of apricot and white peach. Drink now.
My Review: I thought that this wine had a slightly mineral flavor coming through, with light hints of floral aromas. It was fairly tight, with an almost greenish tint. I thought that the wine itself was very nice and crisp, with a lot of nice full fruit flavors. I really liked the nice peachy flavors that presented themselves. I thought that the wine was nice and full with very good flavors, making me interested to have it again.

I did not taste this wine with food.
