Wine Shop Review: Hints of pear and white flowers. Well
balanced with an unusually lively acidity. A splendid aperitif and a delightful
complement to anitpasto, pasta, and light meals. Pale straw in color. Fresh
bouquet with lemon and apple aromas. Dry and well balanced, with crisp apple
and citrus notes
My Review: This Pinot Grigio was very pleasant to me. It
definitely had the very strong flowery nose, but I was also able to pick up on
some slight honey. The color was very interesting as it was darker than all of
the other whites that I tasted. It had a mineral taste with some slight crisp
apple taste. I also liked the slight orange peel that presented itself late in
the tasting.
I did not taste this wine with food.
