Wine Shop Review: Firm and structured, this is a solid wine,
laced with mineral acidity and tight tannins. It has a juicy, blackberry fruit
component cutting through the texture.
My Review: I immediately smelled this wine and thought that
something was off balance. Though the % of alcohol was only 13% it seemed much
higher. It also had a very mineral and tight nose, not wanting to give much up.
I definitely thought that it had high acid for red wine which was refreshing,
with low tannin levels. I got slight hints of blueberry and nice fruit flavors
that resembled blackberries. Just an average wine.
I did not taste this wine with food.
