Tasting- Indwe Sauvignon Blanc

Name: Indwe Sauvignon Blanc
Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Country: South Africa
Region: Coastal Regions of the Western
Year: 2012
Price: $7.95

Wine Shop Review: Grapes are meticulously sourced from our grape producers along the Coastal Regions of the Western Cape ensuring complexity and freshness in the wine. Indwe Sauvignon Blanc is full of flavors, balance and persistence. The wine is imbued with tropical and citrus notes, with hints of melon and gooseberry flavors.
My Review: This was a fairly typical acidic white wine to me. It had an extremely acidic nose with almost every citrus fruit I know making some sort of appearance. It had the nice floral nose as well. Upon tasting it, it definitely had the high acidity levels with some slight lemon and lime action going on. After swallowing, there was a nice clean taste and finish with some slight cantaloupe flavors.

I did not taste this wine with food.
