Tasting- Mas LLunes Maragda

Name: Mas LLunes Maragda
Variety: Grenache Blanc
Country: Spain
Region: Emporada
Year: 2010
Price: $9.95

Wine Shop Review: This Grenache Blanc is exquisitely sculpted with sharp acids and pinpointed minerals, and offers orange, melon and vanilla-honey flavors. A delight to drink, at a great price.
My Review: I was slightly disappointed with the nose of this wine, because it seemed pretty closed when I was trying to get the aromas. I got a slightly mineral smell, with some flower bouquet. It also smelled like it was going to be highly alcoholic. When I tasted it I was surprised to find the highly acidic component to the wine. When swallowing, however, I thought that the wine was extremely smooth. It had very light and delicate flavors on the palate, which I definitely enjoyed.

I did not taste this wine with food.
