Wine Shop Review: This delightful dry Rose is filled with
fresh strawberry and cherry aromas. A pleasant acidity balances the fruity
palate. Made from 100% Pinor Noir, this medium-bodied Rose should be served
chilled with mild cheeses, salmon, or cold appetizers.
My Review: This is the first Rose that I have sampled so far
this year. I enjoyed the lightness of the typically very big Pinot Noir grape.
It was nice not to have all of the tannins that that grape can normally bring
to the table. I got very strong berry smells and tastes in this wine. I thought
that there was also some nice acidity to makes sure that there was not too much
sweetness. I would try this again in the future with some sort of food.
I did not taste this wine with food.
